My Story
From working with engineers to shaping product strategies
I never saw design as just how something looks. It’s how it works, how it feels, and how it solves the right problem.
My first step into UX was during my master’s, interning at Doğuş Teknoloji, an IT services company. That’s where things got real. I built case studies, analyzed websites like bughunty.com and macakizi.com, and learned how to turn critique into action. I realized early on that good design starts with asking the right questions and being able to explain your thinking clearly.
Later, I joined Radity GmbH, Switzerland where I worked on international B2B insurance platforms in US. These were complex, regulated systems, and my job was to make them usable without losing what made them functional. I learned how to simplify tough workflows, work closely with engineers, and communicate across cultures and time zones. For Three Insurance, I helped design a modular, white-labeled platform tailored for small businesses in the U.S., focusing on clarity and simplicity in a space often overwhelmed by jargon and complexity. I also worked on Prepared360, a multi-source feedback tool used in healthcare institutions, where I designed intuitive interfaces that made it easier for professionals to give and receive feedback , turning what’s often a tense process into an honest, productive conversation. Across both projects, I focused on scalable systems, cross-border collaboration, and creating real value for the people using our tools every day.
Things changed when I joined Allianz Türkiye through ting, their experience strategy partner. The company was in the middle of a digital transformation, and I got to be part of it. At Allianz, I design for the Allianz’ım mobile app, the most advanced insurance app in Turkey. But it’s not just about making screens. I help define the problems we solve, how we prioritize them, and how we connect user needs with business goals.
I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Design with a thesis focused on mobile banking usability in Turkey, where I explored how literate users navigate digital money transfer processes and how interface design influences trust and behavior.
This journey has taught me how to handle complexity, dig deeper into understanding of the business needs, and think like a product strategist. I want to keep building experiences that feel honest, useful, and clear, especially in industries that need it the most.
