Overview

The project was initiated to create a comprehensive “Tüm İşlemler” (All Actions) page that offers users a clear, organized view of all available functions across the Allianz’ım app. Unlike the existing personalized action matrix limited to featured and user-specific options, this page aimed to foster deeper user engagement by revealing the app’s full range of capabilities.

A prominent global search bar was incorporated to enable fast, keyword-driven navigation, significantly improving accessibility and discoverability. Early considerations included whether to display all actions or only those relevant to each user, with strategies to guide ineligible users towards appropriate purchase flows, promoting cross-product engagement.

The Process

The project began with thorough discovery and research phases. Stakeholder interviews clarified business goals and technical constraints, while analytics exposed pain points in the current navigation. A competitive analysis of insurance and fintech apps provided insights into effective global search and navigation designs.

Next, user research identified expectations and behaviors, informing low-fidelity wireframes that mapped the structure and flow of the new “All Actions” page. These wireframes underwent multiple iterations based on stakeholder and user feedback, culminating in interactive prototypes tested to validate usability and efficiency.

Design Constraints & Decisions

To enhance visibility and reduce cognitive load, a card button was placed directly beneath the key bar chart, creating a clear and actionable association with the chart’s data. This eliminated the need for additional explanatory text and streamlined user interaction.

Space and usability constraints ruled out a traditional hamburger menu. Instead, a prominently positioned global search bar serves as the primary navigation tool, enabling quick feature location without navigating dense menus.

Profile and account management functions remain distinct and accessible outside product groups, maintaining intuitive navigation. This prioritization of simplicity, speed, and discoverability aligns with user mental models and industry best practices.

The Outcome

The introduction of the global search and “All Actions” page significantly improved discoverability, reducing user effort to locate functions and eliminating reliance on fragmented access points like bottom sheets or sidebars.

This streamlined navigation fostered increased user engagement by exposing a holistic view of the app’s capabilities and encouraging cross-product exploration. Its scalable architecture also ensures readiness for future feature expansions.

Moreover, search analytics provided valuable insights into user preferences and behavior, guiding prioritized enhancements and maintaining alignment with evolving user needs.

Overall, this feature has elevated the Allianz’ım app’s usability, engagement, and business impact, supporting a more seamless and satisfying user experience.
